Senator Warren wants crisis pregnancy centers regulated by Federal Trade Commission.
Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts has joined with Representatives Carolyn Mahoney of New York and Suzanne Bonamici of Oregon, along with Senator Bob Menendez of New Jersey, to introduce the Stop Anti-Abortion Disinformation Act. Senator Warren described pregnancy resource centers as fake abortion clinics set up to mislead unsuspecting women.
Senator Warren said the legislation would “crackdown on false advertising that crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) employ to dissuade patients from getting the reproductive care they need” by authorizing the Federal Trade Commission to regulate and fine pregnancy resource centers.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the senators and representatives who are concerned about crisis pregnancy centers.
- For wisdom for Congressional leaders as this legislation is debated.
- For the protection of the staffs of ministries providing free assistance to women and girls experiencing a crisis pregnancy.
